In 1916 the Titanium Pigment Corporation of Niagara Falls, New York and the Titan A/S of Norway began commercial titanium dioxide (TiO2) production with Sulfate Process. In 1948 DuPont introduced the Chloride Process. Sixty years later Argex enters the market with the innovative Argex Proprietary Process Technology.

Why Titanium Dioxide?

TiO2 is the most used white pigment today, giving life to a colorful world.  Safe and environmentally friendly, its most important properties are optical and measured through brightness, opacity, gloss, tone (white) and under-tone (colour). TiO2 is also weather resistant, durable and resists abrasion (inks, fibers).
